Maternity portraits:  An expectant mother usually likes to document her pregnancy with maternity portraits. There is a fascination with pregnancy and the changes it brings to the body of a mother. Here's some helpful information about maternity portraits: Wardrobe should be kept simple to show off the pregnancy. The best time to take a maternity portrait is at the end of your pregnancy. A big belly is part of the beauty of a pregnancy. A maternity portrait can be in black and white, color or sepia tones. Choosing color or black-and-white prints for a maternity portrait is a matter of preference, so choose what you like best. Posing for maternity photos means getting your best side. Most photos are taken from the side and of mother standing up because the position needs to show the stomach fully. However, other poses can also be done. Choice of color photos, black and white, or sepia prints.   Pet Photography: Portraits of pets are becoming more popular by the day.  After all,  a pet is a part of the family too! Pet portraits are best taken in a natural, comfortable environment. If your dog loves water, a beach photo would work well and maybe some photos of the dog even retrieving a favorite toy in it. Patience is key, and it may take some time for your pet to calm down and relax to its normal personality. Each pet's personality is different...some are hyper when meeting new people, and some are very shy and scared. Bringing props is acceptable...a likeable toy and some small treats for between poses. Bring everything you may want your pet to be photographed in, including any kind of dress up clothes if that's your desire.
